The origin of comp. PRANA is dated from the 30th May 1997 when the French tools comp. BERGUY SA from Savigny le Temple (sited around Paris) created its branch office in Martin BERGUY, s.r.o. as a commercial and technical support for the Slovak suppliers in the field of production the pressing tools.

     The company PRANA, Ltd. was created buying and renaming this office of the French company the 7.3.2002 and has continued not only in its activities in facilitating the production of pressing tools - shering, tension, bending, which sought to rate for the automotive industry, but also in other fields of mechanical engineering and metallurgy.

     During an initial period of independent existence company gained rich experience in metallurgy, where in cooperation with the Slovak Foundries and Forges ensured the production and machining of castings and forgings for various industries segments of cast steel, ductile and gray cast iron and aluminium.
     With thats activities was related to equipment models and forms - wood, polystyrene, resin, metal (whether from Slovak modelers but also from French suppliers) as well as all kinds of NDT used in the industry - VC, US, MT, PT, RX.

     Another vast area and the support of the engineering industry were welded and machined components for road and construction equipment and related positioning and welding tools. In this segment he performs a wide transfers of technical documentation from customers and the direct supervision and responsibility for its implementation in the production of individual products.

     At present, its main activities are related with the sourcing of suppliers (mainly for the manufacturig and erection of steel structures and technological structures), the auditing and monitoring the progress of production according to customer specifications and schedule planing

     Participation in the implementation of projects to ensure the qualitative aspect of projects by up-dated principles of project management and routing in innovative technologies and prospective areas of the industry, the company is building a strong foundation for new challenges and its progress.
